I haven’t gotten to use the scale much, but it seems to be of high quality. It’s very user friendly, and is large enough to fit a wide box but small enough to not take up a ton of room.
Nice postal scale

Scale

It is light weight and simple to use. Since I purchased this scale, I enjoy using it. It is very accurate.
Excellent

Sleek, compact. I have used this to weigh simple mailing envelopes to very large boxes. My husband uses it to weigh meat and ingredients when cooking. Would highly recommend.
Good for the price.

Purchased this scale weigh occasional items I sell on eBay. Just what I needed. Convenient, accurate, easy to use. Workmanship could be a little better but I am well satisfied given the amount I paid.
Still Works Fine After Many Years of Heavy Use
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased this scale 6 or so years ago.
It has never failed me so far.
If it does, I will go right out and purchase
another identical one.
I had to replace the battery about 3 times.
I rarely used the adapter.
I weighed approximately 50-60 items a month, and
they were anywhere from 1 – 35 pounds.
The weight was always accurate to the ounce.
The unit is made of plastic, but has held up nicely.
There is a “hold” button for when you can’t see the
display due to a large size box.
I rarely had to use the Tare to zero it out prior
to weighing.
My son loves it for weighing the large car parts he sells.
I would recommend this scale highly since it has served
me well and lasted for so long.
Nice scale and a great value

I was looking for a postal scale for my daughter. Found this one at Amazon.com. After my daughter told me how much she liked it, I bought one for myself.
The footprint is small and the power is either battery or 110V. The scale has a nice feature in that it allows you to lock the reading in if the envelope or parcel is overing hanging the scale. This feature allows for easy reading of the weight.
This is a nice scale for the price range. It does everything we need it to do. A good buy.
Extremely helpful

A great buy for anyone who routinely ships items from home – I’ve recently stepped up eBay business and find the ability to purchase postage online and schedule pickup at the door far easier than the 45 minute wait in line at the post office. This scale is very accurate, easy to use, and the hold feature allowing me to weigh oversize packages is great. I anticipate it will get a workout come the holidays as well.
Not very accurate after a few months. GOD, GIVE US A DECENT SCALE w/o the Bull!

I got this scale as a birthday gift, one of the better gifts I’ve received(I prefer functional gifts, things that you need in life, i.e. windshield wipers or replacement electrical toothbrush heads) about 2 years ago. It worked great and was very accurate for a few months. I started to put its accuracy to the test by also weighing my packages on the Post Office’s Automatic Postal Machine’s scale and I found that this scale was not returning accurate weights. This scale would under weigh items and that is a problem when you are mailing packages, since the post office can return the item to you with “not enough postage” stamped over the postage you paid. The Post Office will not refund that amount either.
Stay clear of this scale.
P.S. God, Please create a scale that stays accurate, I beg you.
Doesn’t stand the test of time

We bought this scale about a year ago and thankfully never wrote a praising review. This scale started having electronic problems. It got flaky, became hard to turn on and now won’t come on at all. It’s trash. Save the $ and buy Pelouze, our Pelouze scale is 15 yrs old and works perfect. Quality isn’t there with this one.
Works, but cheap build

This scale works, but the quality of the materials is not very good. For example, the AC adaptor plug in the back is loose, just moves around.
Great little scale

This is a great digital scale for my postage needs up to 36 pounds. Is your box too large to see the digital readout? No problem, just hit the “hold” button, remove the item from the scale, and get the readout! Also like the option of going batteries/cordless, or with the included cord for power.
Love this scale

I just started selling on Ebay and this scale has been perfect for me!! I really like the hold feature , where it will hold the weight if you have a larger box. Very good buy!!!
Works like it is supposed to

Only complaint is that the original battery has a short life, so beware no warning for a low battery. When the battery becomes weak the scale seems to be malfunctioning.
Reliable Scale for Home Use
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have owned this scale for several years and am quite happy with it. I use it to weigh letters, large envelopes, and small packages. In addition, my wife’s 5th grade class has used it on several occaisions for their gifted program contests. It has held up to the heavy use with no problems. We are ordering a second scale for school use. The scale has just the right number of features to meet most people’s needs.
Useless Item
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I ordered and received one of these scales in December, 2006. When it arrived, it worked but was somewhat erratic. A week or so later it just quit working entirely. As it was under warranty, I obtained an RA and sent it for repair (I had to pay shipping one-way). The total cost of this wonderful scale had now risen to over $50. Some time later, I received a replacement unit but this one was a different color than the one sent back. No big deal but, sure enough, a month or so later, the new one died as well. Amazon should cease selling these things. They are, without a doubt, the most cheaply made pieces of junk I’ve seen since the “Japanese Transistor Radios” of the 1950s.
Worth the money
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I didn’t give this product 5 stars simply because the gram weight only goes by 5 gram increments instead of one and because the mode button (which switches from ounces to grams) is disobedient at times. But these issues are minimal and haven’t given me any heartache yet. It’s a good buy for my simple purposes and it looks great on the counter. Very professional-looking.
DOES WHAT IT SHOULD
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
It’s a scale. It does what it should. I didn’t have to think about it when I began to use it. I don’t have to think about it when I use it now. And the price was great. Pretty much what you want (but have given up expecting) when you buy something as ordinary as a scale.
